Magenta TV

I provided creative direction and UX/UI design solutions for Magenta TV by Telekom, covering web, TV, and app platforms. The goal was to ensure seamless, consistent usability across devices while adhering to Telekom's refreshed corporate identity. They required a unified design system across multiple platforms to deliver a seamless user experience. They also needed to meet strict accessibility requirements, ensuring the product was inclusive for all users.

Process

User Research & Accessibility Requirements

We began by defining user needs and accessibility standards, incorporating screen readers, keyboard navigation, and colour contrast checks to enhance inclusivity.

Design & Prototyping

Using Figma, I led the design efforts, creating intuitive interfaces optimized for large screens (TV) and smaller ones (mobile). The designs went through multiple iterations, informed by usability tests and feedback loops.

Agile Collaboration & Development

Working closely with scrum teams, I served as a design lead, communicating directly with developers and product owners. We used tools like Jira and GitHub to track progress and integrate design changes efficiently.

The final goal was a highly accessible, user-friendly interface that improves the user journey, resulting in a more consistent and seamless experience across devices.
